January Vacation

Todd had one of his week long vacations at the end of January, so we hit the road and DC was our first stop. We LOVE our friends in Washington and it was so nice to just hang out for the weekend. The biggest event was Alicia's birthday party - here are a couple snap shots (courtesy of Mrs. Peisch) of the party. I'm turning into such a bad photographer....I never have my camera when I need it.
Our cute friend Matthew (holding Audrey in the pic below) was so hospitable and let us crash at his bachelor pad for the weekend. It is the cleanest, most decorated bachelor pad known to man. Thanks, Matthew!

Our next stop was to visit our dear friends, the Parkers. They lived here in Michigan when we got here. We stayed at their place while we looked for a house, while we waited for our house to close etc. Then when we got here for good, they helped us get acquainted with town. We LOVE them. They live in Delaware now. If you've never had the desire to visit Delaware just get to know the Parkers...they make everything fun! Again, a serious lack of photos, but here's one of the crew on campus at the U of Michigan.
Camille took us to Philly where we visited the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall - the birthplace of our government. Fun times.
Thanks, Parkers for hosting us and for being our friends....we know it isn't always easy.

Have ever seen the show Friday Night Lights. The baby, Gracie, might be Audrey's twin. Also, nice to see the Derrs on your blog, it's a small world after all...
