Something I've noticed while looking through our pictures is that I'm not great at documenting all the things we do....mostly I just take pictures of things that hit my funny bone. So, I'm not trying to be a comedian here, it's just that lots of times the funny things are the bulk of what I have on film.
Here is a jumbled mess of pictures of the last few months....they are definitely not in order.
The last couple weeks before Molly arrived, I begged my 93 year old Gram to "help me" recover two chairs I have. It was more like I totally annoyed her while she tried to get her work done! :). She is amazing and I couldn't love her more. She's not feeling really great these days, which makes me extra grateful for this project I did with her. Love you, Gram!
A note from Audrey I found one day...
He ADORES her.....I hope that's always the case!
Storytime in the bathroom.
Superhero costumes - the stuff childhood should be made of.
We spent a couple weeks in St. George while Todd was covering his colleague's shifts down there. Here's Drewbee learning to fly.
A lucky baby and a lucky daddy.
Getting ready to climb thru The Crack. Mama no goes in The Crack - makes Mama hyperventilate to look at it.
Yikes. Even Slender Todd Nelson thought he was stuck for a minute.
Audrey and her best lady Mimi....nothing like a good buddy.
I had shut myself in my room. I think I was talking on the phone and they were being too loud. Audrey kept pounding on the door and I kept telling her I needed to be alone. Then this sailed under the door......he was requesting a "wipe".
Baseball season was amazing...Drew and his cousin Will with my brother Joel as the coach. I could watch these little dudes play all day - it is purely for parental entertainment. Aren't they darling? Will's even got his chew in...
Their teammate in the very back, mid-game, playing outfielder. He's sitting down with his mitt on his head and he's gathering dandelions. Like I said, pure entertainment.
Nelson boys at the ballpark.
Our boy turned 5 in May, and he requested a monster truck party. Here are some of the truck drivers racing their trucks out to the dirt pile.

Monster truck rally!
I went on a quick couple night's getaway with some dear friends to San Clemente. Those are some good girls and we had some really good food!
Cute milk-mustached boy staring out the window, probably dreaming about mashed potatoes and legos.
A sweet lady contacted us and asked us to participate in a 5K she started 10 years ago called Running with Angels. They honor a few families who have lost babies recently and the proceeds to go to help support and care for families who have lost babies. My first 5K - oh yeah! Awesome to have our
family there to run with us.
Nice work, sister! I like her arm tucked into my shirt....
Audrey had a big ballet performance. Here's our little ballerina with Grandma Janny and Papa Allen. She has since retired from ballet. Yay!
Cousins...Hailey, Jayne, Audrey
Looks like it's time to use the buckles...
No caption necessary.
Sister bonding time in the pillow cave.
Finishing up Kindergarten
Her teacher Mrs. Bowman
I love this picture...Cutest girls.
Go yellow Penguins!
Our dear friends in Michigan gave us the sweetest gift when Lizzie passed away - money to buy a "Lizzie tree" to plant in our yard. We didn't have our own yard until recently, so we were finally able to find a tree and plant it right out front. Thank you, Thomases! We love our Lizzie Tree!
St. George Temple - the whiteness is amazing. SO pretty!
More loves from her brother.
Playing with our buds at the splash pad in St George...their faces say it all.
It's a little bit of a chore to protect her from being overly loved sometimes...so much love.
Todd did a home stitch up job on our niece Ellie's leg. They both did great!
Long crack award! Look at those buns!!
We stopped by Lizzie's grave on her birthday. We miss that sweet angel baby every day....
So instead, we tried to get them all in the picture with the headstone. It turned into screaming and crying and we all stomped back to the car. Peaceful moments at the cemetery.....
We spent a few days near Zion National Park with my family. Nothing better than a good wrestling match with the boys....
Missing about 6 cousins, but this is a good chunk of them. They are such good kids.
The day at the sand dunes would have been awesome except there was a windstorm...not so great at the sand dunes.... we were thoroughly exfoliated.
Drew said Molly needed some bandages, so he made some out of wipes. I'm sure she felt so much better, don't you think?
Hot summer rain calls for raingear....he chose ski pants and woolly parka.
Swimming lessons with Will and Jakey.
Traditional 4th of July swimming at Grandma Gwen's.
She's kind of naughty and doesn't like to sleep in her own bed, but this is what I wake up to. Oh goodness, baby, I adore you. The crack again....
We spent a spring weekend camping in Canyonlands with the Wards and the Gardners. SO fun.
We hadn't met our neighbors who live over the back fence, but one morning I looked out and saw this. Hidey Ho, Good Neighbor! (Ever seen Home Improvement?) I got a good laugh out of that one.
And then we went to Red Fish with the Nelsons. Oh, Red Fish....what a great tradition. 30 cousins and counting.
Molly and Frances are a week apart.....and a few pounds apart. I love so many things about this picture.
Drewbee asked me "Mom, can you lean your theat back tho I can play with your hair?"
Jumping off the dock into the freezing water.
See how Todd's the thickest of the brothers? It's not a hard title to earn. He's also the cutest...sorry, brothers.
Best part of Red Fish...
And we painted our house...I was SO scared that it wouldn't turn out. Before:
And After.....Ahhhhh I feel so much better about this.
Audrey wrote matching notes for Todd and me today.... nothing better than that.
And a couple more Molly pictures just because she's pure yum.
Record for my longest post. Fer sher.
